Partner Visitor Visa

The Partner of a New Zealander Visitor Visa allows you to visit your partner in New Zealand, whether they are a citizen or resident. Besides enjoying travel and exploring the country, you can also engage in study for up to three months. This visa is valid for two years, and you can travel in and out as long as you have valid multiple-entry travel conditions.

Eligibility Requirements for a Partner of a New Zealander Visitor Visa:

To apply for an NZ Partner Visitor visa, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Be in good health.
Have good character.
Genuinely intend to meet the conditions of your visa.
Your partner must be a citizen or resident of New Zealand.
Your partner must have good character.
Your partner must be eligible to support your visa application.
You and your partner must be living together in a genuine and stable relationship.
Your partner must be in New Zealand when you visit.
Have sufficient funds or a sponsor during your visit.
Your children must meet the requirements for this visa (if applicable).

Processing Time

The processing time for a Partnership Visitor Visa NZ is four months. Your visa application will be processed within this timeframe.

Duration of Stay

You can stay for two years in New Zealand with a Partner of NZ Visitor visa.

Conditions:

To comply with the conditions of a Partner of a New Zealander Visitor visa, you must:

Apply for entry permission upon arrival in New Zealand by completing the provided arrival card.
Obtain multiple-entry travel conditions to return to New Zealand for travel in and out of the country.
Possess a ticket to leave New Zealand, sufficient funds to buy one, or be sponsored for such costs.
Have enough funds to cover living expenses in New Zealand during your stay or have a sponsor.
Be aware that studying for up to three months is permitted with a Partner of NZ Visitor visa.
Understand that working in New Zealand is not allowed with a Partner of NZ Visitor visa.
